Sara Orsi develops her work using digital media as a way to express her research on “the impact of digital technology in contemporary culture.” In her recent work she has been using daily life technologies as websites and phone apps as artistics artifacts to question their own role on society.
Also, she practices her professional activity as web-designer and web-developer and is co-founder with João Abreu Valente of Arquivo 237, a cultural space in Lisbon focuses on Architecture, Design and Technology.
Orsi holds a bachelor from Architecture Faculty of Oporto University and a Communication Design and New Media MFA from Fine Arts Faculty of Lisbon University, with the dissertation “From the Archive to the New.”
